I have been working at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Chrysler has a very diverse workforce which is nice. Everybody that I know that works here currently takes a lot of pride in their job and that makes coming to work easier each day.

Cons

It's a large place and sometimes you can easily be overlooked.

I have been working at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Good buzz, if you are creative this is the place for you. A majority of the managers in Engineering, Quality, and Powertrain have been great to work with.

    Cons

Still some "old school" managers/leaders that refuse to change or accept new ideas. HR leaders really need to accept that their staff refuses to accept change or the rep in the market. If you are looking for a certain type of person then you need to change your work environment. The HR leaders in Engineering, Quality, and Powertrain have been great, area's like Accounting and Finance and Corporate are not good partners.

    Advice to Management

Need to get rid of some of the HRBP's who refuse to help change, they are just collecting a pay check at this point.

I worked at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fiat has invested time and money to improve Chrysler designs and quality along with kicking off several new programs.

Tech Center is a great building to work in (minus the parking)

    Cons

Company changed hands 3-4 time in 8 years (Chrysler corporation, DaimlerChrysler, Chrysler LLC-Cerberus, Chrysler-Fiat).
Hard work and no\little work has the same reward (Like in any big company...people in the department know you but at the end of the day your just a number)

    Advice to Management

Superficial company directives like DFSS and the toyota way are waste of everyone's time unless you plan to actually implement them.
