I worked at FDH Engineering full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Busy work, great pay and environment. Office location is in Clayton, MO so its centrally located to greater St. Louis area.

Cons

Cant tell if they are coming or going sometimes.

Advice to Management

Have a greater management oversight. Way to much BS goin on behind the scenes

I worked at FDH Engineering full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Monthly socials (if your work load will allow you to attend)
    - Semi annual bonuses ( Definitely not guaranteed...See cons)
    - Paid benefits (Free medical for yourself, very affordable dental & vision plans, 16 days of PTO, 8 paid holidays)
    - Pretty nice holiday party in December

    Cons

    - Poor management decisions
    - low morale - extremely high turnover
    - Semi annual bonuses were not given mid year 2013. We found out the week of.
    - Demanding workload, salary does not compensate
    - Can't put hope in getting promoted from within. Upper management will quickly hire outside talent and all of a sudden you have a new boss.
    - The decline in employee value is very obvious.

    Advice to Management

Put more emphasis on being prepared for growth and valuing current employees.

I worked at FDH Engineering (Less than a year)

    Pros

The best thing I have to say about my time at FDH is that I worked so many hours, my actual pay was well over what "full time" would have been. While I was there, benefits were decent (health was covered 100%, dental and vision were cheap).

    Cons

Long hours, irregular schedule, and lots of travel. The travel generally takes you to middle-of-nowhere places, but even if you end up in a great spot, you'll be working too many hours to take advantage of it. Employee turnover is high, and in my experience they weren't entirely honest at the time of hiring as far as what my schedule would be like because they needed warm bodies so badly.
