I have been working at FJC Security full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Pays well, and they have union in most divisions. (32bj) Provides training and uniforms.

Cons

Personnel can sometimes be unprofessional.

Advice to Management

Insure the personnel staff is professional and respectful towards the guards.

    Pros

    Great entry level positions.
    Union for employees.
    Able to get pay raises

    Cons

    They need to hire better people, the quality of some of the people that they have working for them is just horrible, dispatch need to do their job and stop bring lazy, also they to start giving more raises to the guards and stop being cheap, they're making money off us with the cantracts.

    Advice to Management

    Hire better middle management and lower management staff

    Pros

    Full Time, part time, weekly paycheck, vacation, health benefits, retirement. Open Door policy.
    Use as a stepping stone for more ethical & morale employers.

    Cons

    Vacation at company discretion. Cashback on vacation is a 24 mo waiting period w/o interest. Health Benefits are, inappropiate or inadequate. LOD injury - non existent - worksman comp - watchout. Open door policy as long as supevisor approves @ you must tell supervisor reason to contact HR, otherwise, write up! Fixed schedules are solely immediate supervisor discretion - expect interruptions.
    Google 401 K & Provider relation to FJC> Conflict of Interest - maybe a SEV Violation.

    Advice to Management

    CEO, Please stop using 401 as personal finance - place earning on time, not every 90 days. Do you think being an aquaintance to the provider of retirement is healthy? Your decisions on wages, look what it has done for you - you get the employees you pay for. How Many have left in last 18 months? How many are you willing to loose along side those contracts?
