The pros: - Overall great culture - Good insurance, if you want the basic high deductible insurance then it's free, if you opt-in for the PPO then you pay for it (not a bad cost) - 401k match up to 4% or a certain amount - 4 weeks PTO up front (this includes sick time) (must use all at the end of the year or a few hours can roll over to the next year) - most if not all US holidays are off plus you get two floating holidays and your birthday off - a one-time $300 stipend to spend on office equipment
- benefits could be better, although great for a company that size - no growth opportunities - no job leveling guidelines, so there is no way of knowing how to excel and go above and beyond your job - no recognition for improving processes - when I tried to express displeasure I was met with negativeness from the direct manager - recruiters got laid off the day the company announced they hit their fundraising goal (meeting to let the company know the sad news of some layoffs but also to celebrate the funding they have received) - Pay is not keeping up with the high inflation rate and cost of living in some areas
