Absolutely no growth. Once your in a position that is it. Do not expect to move forward. Even when you try, management will bring you back down. Specifically for the Professional Liability Investigator (PLI) and Investigative Associates (IA). You are given so much work and no gratitude is shown towards you. Managers are disrespectful and will yell at you/send you belittling emails. The IA salary is baffling for NYC and they do so much work....RUN! It is not worth it. The IA's should be praised by the amount of work they do but instead they are unnoticed and SEVERELY underpaid. The PLI are given cases to investigate that truly do not need to be. They are given unreasonable deadlines and are often given cases that are classified as "urgent". Both groups are overworked and unappreciated.
If you bring the underpaid salary to the attention of HR, they'll disregard you and pretend the conversation never happened. HR does nothing to better management.....it's a continuous cycle of the same thing.
