Pros

Jade Also free cans of coke but I think they've stopped doing that haha

Cons

By far the worst place I have ever worked. In every way. They could not possibly care less about their employees, particularly people in the lower roles. The management are rude, obstructive unprofessional, and make it very clear that they think they are better than you. They lie regularly and demand that you work unpaid overtime. They usually ask you to do this around 15 - 30 minutes before your shift should be over. The service they provide to their customers is appaling and they regularly lie to their customers (see trust pilot). Managers have thier phone out and take personal calls while sat at there desk infront of the computer. They literally could not organise a drink up in a brewery. However they can organise a trip to Gregg's to collect food for managers and their one favourite employee while everyone else is working. Shortly after the Covid-19 pandemic started while most offices were shut they had communal pizza with people picking slices up and putting them back down! That tells you everything you need to know about this company. The only way to progress is to do loads of unpaid overtime and be liked by the right people. If they dont like you on a personal level or if you point out any flaws or criticise anyone more senior they will find a reason to get rid of you. Please do not work for this company if you would like any kind of life outside work or have any self respect.

Pros

The CEO and upper management were great. A diverse range of employees from different backgrounds employed there. Good central work location.

Cons

Low pay. Commission structure misleading and extremely minimal. Direct managers poor, one especially had a case of 'small man syndrome' and would just scream at you for no reason on most days - very demotivating, un encouraging and soul destroying.

Dear Colleague, Thanks for sharing your experience. Albeit this is a review from 2015. I'd like to assure you that the Senior Management have taken significant steps to address the above mentioned problems. We have planned Career Camp for all our line managers. The aim of this event is to educate them on better managing their teams, regular check-ins, staff motivation, feedback and development. Along with a permanent Head of People and a HR Manager in Chester we have a Chief People Officer who is working very hard on defining a People Strategy that supports growth and retention. Thank you for the valuable feedback and I assure you that we are doing everything that it takes to improve this experience this year on.
