    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Good pay and benefits the benefits are about average. 9/80 schedule for the refiniery is excellent. Parking is adequate (I am reaching).

    Cons

Disorganized management and reactionary approach to problem solving. They do not appear to have local plan and their regional and global plans are unrealistic. Morale was poor before some leadership changes at the refinery made everyone concerned for their jobs. Let the workers do their work an let management write procedures. Most of us are used to walking into a job where the procedures already exist and we just need to implement them.

    The coffee is absolutely undrinkable.

    Advice to Management

Fix what is broken over playing CYA.

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

Big company perks like gym, reasonable salaries, possibility of joining wider Atkins Group for international jobs etc.

    Cons

Culture is primarily male, white, not particularly dynamic other than at the highest levels. Don't seem to even recognise that they are losing senior females due to the assumptions made, rather than any real change in attitude of women returners. There is certainly also a "keep in with the important people if you want to progress".

    Advice to Management

Do a proper, non-prejudiced set of exit interviews with the women who leave....
