I worked at Family Dollar Stores full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Best was my manager jordan. Family dollar needs to hire more managers like her.

Cons

My fifth manager was rude, liar, and a person who loved starting problems with her employees. Dont understand stand why they would hire a store manager that doesnt know no english.

Advice to Management

Family dollar is place that loves to start problems by interfering in to their employees personal life/problems and spreading them to other employees from different family dollar stores. And threatening their employees to confessing to something they didn't do or else they would lose their job which eventually they will still end up doing. Too much overtime and minimum wage.

I have been working at Family Dollar Stores full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

decent salary once you make store manager. Only have to work 48hrs a week. Off on Sundays as a store manager.

    Cons

pay so low for cashiers and asms hard to retain people. Manager required to do most all the work. Only work 48hrs a week, but required to work 6 days. Would be better if we could work our Monday thru Friday 48hrs. Some processes are hard to deal with, such as if you want to transfer in your same position you have to re apply for your position.

    Advice to Management

Doing an overall good job, management seems to care for employees
