I worked at Family Heritage Life Insurance full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Great People, some of the best sales training and sales people in the usa, Freedom to work for yourself any day off work any hours

Cons

Sadly some of the managers you work under under pay you, kinda like a multi-level marketing company would. The commission can range from 30%-over 70% but almost everyone is started at 30 and only 1or 2 managers will pay over 50% after being there over 3-4 years.
No benefits( so sad that you are an insurance company and you dont even give the people that sell for you free FHL insurance as long as your employed

Advice to Management

Start everyone at 40% and have commission go up to 80% first year and residuals start 4% - 15% if someone wants to sell full time and not recruit pay them 60-80% and then later pay less if they recruit.
Give free FHL insurance to employees as long as you are selling

    Cons

If you can not commit the 60+ hours weekly in the beginning and having trouble cold selling than its not the job for you.
