I have been working at FedEx Office full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Insurance, job security-FedEx isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

    Cons

Absolutely no opportunity for advancement. You will die here. You are better off to transfer in to a manager position from an outside company. No incentive to do anything better. You do not get a lunch break, much less 2 ten minute breaks in a full days shift. The company only focuses on managers, regular old peons mean nothing and are not communicated to whatsoever-oh except the product of the month!! Make sure you shove those flash drives down peoples throats, because customer service means nothing and hitting your metrics is the only thing that anyone looks at.

    Advice to Management

PROMOTE FROM WITHIN!!! It is insane to me that this company offers absolutely zero incentive for people to move up the ladder. Now if you are coming from Staples or Office Depot, you will get a shot at a manager's job no problem which is completely ridiculous. Care about your customers and not your bottom line. Care about your employees, even us out there on the front lines spewing all your "Talk Tracks," We are the face of your company and we are treated like garbage.

I have been working at FedEx Office full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Paid Time Off. Discount on Shipping. Get to use the adobe creative suite and microsoft office on a daily basis. Never boring.

    Cons

Sometimes too fast paced. Not nearly enough compensation for the workload and required skill set. Work environment can be frustrating when you are constantly pulled away from your current project to help a customer at the counter. Training is often focused on how to talk to customers instead of how to use the software and machines.
