I worked at FedEx Office full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Access to software
Ability to learn about different printing techniques
Easy going manager (this doesn't happen at all locations)

    Cons

Misguided management strategies ("product of the months" featuring $1 pens. Really?!)
District manager was completely condescending to all staff, including management
Low morale due to the lack of empathy from upper management
Inability to move up (they literally won't allow it if they aren't fond of you personally)
Lack of real breaks (if it's a busy day, you aren't getting one. Period)
Imbeciles that are the patrons (It's 2014 people! How do you own smart phones and tablets, but can't compose a word document?!)
Standing on feet for 8+ hours
You have to deal with non-stop rudeness from guests (there's no escaping it. You literally have no where to go in the store because they're everywhere!)

    Advice to Management

Just treat your employees the way you want to be treated. You'd see more positivity overall.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at FedEx Office full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I would recommend this employer to a friend because there are lots of opportunities to transfer to other locations in either the same or different city/states.

    Cons

Raises are tiny. Tons and tons of training. Management is often frustrated and take it out on their employees.

    Advice to Management

Employees are asked for input but then it is never implemented -- if you are going to ask for input try to implement some of it. For example, they often asked for ideas for raising revenue in centers and never used any of them (other center employees reported the same experience).
