I worked at FedEx part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good way to get in shape, friendly atmosphere

    Cons

Have to go through guard shack to enter and leave. They frisk you on leaving. They have high demands to fit their needs. a lot of people don't last, high turnover.

    Advice to Management

    Give a longer training time.

I worked at FedEx full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good experience for someone just coming into the job force. You will learn how to interact with customers and deal with the general public. You will learn some basic sales techniques and how to up-sell products. You will also learn some basic computer skills and project management skills to put onto a resume. There are also pretty good medical and 401k benefits.

    Cons

There is a large learning curve and allot is expected of you as you will be filling many roles without allot of time to learn all that is needed to do your job.

    Advice to Management

I would recommend to get back to the system to where everybody has their position and did it very well instead of all employees doing all things.
