I worked at FedEx full-time (More than a year)

Pros

flexible hrs, was able to go to school and work, good management.

Cons

customers are expected to do a lot by themselves but most are not technologically savvy. By the time they came to ask for help customers were already pretty upset

Advice to Management

Doing good, keep it up.

    Pros

    -Opportunities to network with employees in other departments
    -Beautiful Campus
    -Opportunities to see other FedEx campus' including: the hub, world tech center, customer service call center, etc.
    -Pay was well
    -Great name on your resume

    Cons

    -Interns are given "busy work"
    -very conservative work place
    -not a lot of opportunity to show your true skills
    -limited access to meet other interns

    I worked at FedEx full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    It is an easy job with somewhat flexible schedule options. I made great friends there. Recognized company is a little easier for phone sales.

    Cons

    Boring job. Can be completed within a couple of hours a day. Management seems inadequately trained and sales initiatives are never completed. Very little feedback from management and upper management.

    Advice to Management

    Have HR presence in call centers.
