I worked at Fidelis Care full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

So many smart and exciting people, a wonderful mission, and some managers who were dedicated to growth.

Cons

Lots of ideas that were never developed, a PR department that hated innovation or creativity. Poor communication from the top. Lots of turnover.

Advice to Management

Nurture your good employees, jettison the bullies.

    I worked at Fidelis Care full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Nice building, good location, great people to work with. Good benefits although over the years the company has watered them down into less then what was originally offered when I started.

    Cons

    No one who's any good stays with the company. The individuals who do all the work are always expected to do more and more without any thanks from their immediate Supervisor. It's those individuals who realize they would be appreciated elsewhere and leave.

    Advice to Management

    Practice what you preach.

    Pros

    Decent compensation, ok hours, nice building, callers are pleasant for the most part, not a difficult job

    Cons

    Next to no training, terrible management...it seems they can't make their minds up on anything. They would have a person answering the phone that has no clue what their talking about then to properly train you, and then have the nerve to reprimand you if you get something wrong or try to ask questions. They think its ok to change your schedule with a days notice.

    Advice to Management

    Try training you employees rather than throwing them on the phones so the hold time will be shorter. Also, if you aren't going to train them, then don't yell at them for asking questions.
