I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

401k/health benefits are phenomenal, you can switch jobs almost ever 6 months to 1 year, quarterly/annual bonuses, easy to win other rewards which can add up to several thousand a year for doing almost nothing.

    Cons

Micromanagement. Every minute of my day is tracked and translated into an efficiency percentage, which if it goes too low, I'm penalized. I'm not allowed to spend more than an average 480 seconds on the phone with a customer, or I'm penalized. I'm required to generate sales leads in a non-sales job, or I'm penalized. I'm required to stick to my minute-by-minute schedule, or I'm penalized. And last, the job is definitely dependent on if your manager likes you.

    Advice to Management

Stop punishing me for going to the bathroom. Breakfast + morning coffee = bathroom break! It's basic math.

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Management very supportive. PWIS systems and operations have a good learning curve to them. Master them and you are ready to take on anything. People and business units you work with are great.
Many people I worked with had been within Fidelity for a LONG time. Once you are in, You're in. The accrued benefits seem to keep people around.

    Cons

Gets stale after a few years, the monotony of the type of work you do can be taxing. Enrollment season can turn co-workers batty (busy season)
