I worked at Fidelity Investments as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great experience. I was put right on a team of senior people working with the Product Line Architects. Not only was a given great opportunities to contribute to the company but I was also given a lot of time to see how the company work and do training with them.

    Cons

Fidelity is a larger company so it can be harder to get noticed. You have to make sure you do your work well. If you do though, you are rewarded for it. Sometimes things moved a little too slowly

    Advice to Management

Nothing, they do a great job

I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

With a wide range of positions in one location, it is easy to gain experience in several areas. Total compensation is competitive, although base salary is lower than average.

    Cons

The current trend of "cost cutting" is unfortunately making it more difficult to meet client expectations.

    Advice to Management

Focus on building a supportive environment for employees and they will be more motivated to exceed client expectations.
