I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great training - paid training.

Cons

Call center body mill with 24 hour coverage - you will work nights, weekends, holidays. However, there will be differential and overtime pay to partially compensate.

Advice to Management

Give employees with religious reasons preferential time off on their religious sabbath - consider religious reasons for shift preferences over and above that of the sporting enthusiast.

    - Robust support to attain your Series 7 securities license
    - Good base education in personal finance
    - Strong customer-first culture

    Cons

    - Overtime was expected rather than a differentiating factor for representatives
    - Limited opportunities for interaction with colleagues
    - Lunch was effectively timed and was limited to 30 minutes
    - You may be stuck with a frustrating shift with odd times (my first one was M,W,F,Sat 10pm-8pm)

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Profit sharing plan and insurance is amazing.

    Cons

Pay sucks. Managers are horrible. The management sees employees as replaceable (even those that exceed expectations). It's all about how many calls you can answer. They literally schedule your pee breaks. It's ridiculous. Unless you are in an investment center or in Boston, your career will go no where!
