I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There are some smart people there, and the pay is above average.

    Cons

The culture is toxic. Most SVP level and above are more interested in how they are perceived over actual business results. The result is small groups of people that prevent senior management from seeing the real issues that prevent true growth. Everyone in the 'group' is doing the best possible job, and any poor results are the cause of non-group members. Poor results are rarely reported voluntarily.

    Advice to Management

Seek to find the actual performers in the company and promote them. These are not the same people that 'take credit' as a profession.
