Approves of CEO

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Good benefits, decent salary. Good training.

Cons

No matter how you slice it, you are working in a CALL CENTER. This means you will be micromanaged, treated like a child, and forced to work overtime because the firm refuses to staff properly during tax season. You can choose the flavor of calls you want (i.e. trading, advisory, service, retirements) but at the end of the day its still just about AHT, ACW, and the same old call center crap.

Advice to Management

Get with the 90's-rotate reps between inbound calls and email/chat functions.

    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Fidelity Investments as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is great, you get to meet a lot of upper management. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly. Also the internship made it very easy to obtain a offer post graduation if you work hard.

    Cons

They don't really entrust a lot of work to interns which can be boring. Doesn't make sense since they pay their interns handsomely

I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits: 401k, IRA-Roth, learn A LOT of how to effectively manage your money (don't even have to be an advisor to learn strategies--it just becomes innate after the frequent conversations and projects one participates in), Corporate Perks/Discounts, Corporate Amex (if applicable),

    Cons

If your passion/interest isn't in financial industry, this career quickly becomes a job.
Corporate bureaucracy-- everyone seems to hate their job but will quickly act like they love it when asked -_-
Tuition Reimbursement- Continue education 90% reimbursement up to 10,000...seriously what "good" graduate school, B-School , etc has a tuition of $10,000/year...none

    Advice to Management

Become more understanding with employee work/life balance.
employees seem to not have no say in their roles.
