Pros

Lots of overtime pay. You can make some pretty decent money being that pay is hourly with everything after 40 hours being time and a half. Employees are expected to work 48 hours per week, but 55 hours in a week is not rare.

Cons

Lots of overtime hours. Stores generally staff 2-4 sales teammates per day, but expect them to work full days. 7am to 8pm is not out of the ordinary.

Management gets upset about too much overtime, but doesn't seem willing to bring in the proper staff needed to make staying under 48 hours a possibility.

Advice to Management

Either be willing to shell out the overtime needed to keep your best people in the store, or bring in more sales associates and change schedule structure to shift work. Just know that customers don't like seeing different faces every time they bring their car in.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Car repairs are needed in any economy, insurance package is decent, enjoy working with most co-workers, starting pay is decent for a career change.

    Cons

Hours are long, weekends mandatory. Company promotes training but it doesn't happen at store level. Company does not support or back employees even if the customer was wrong or abusive towards the employee. Constant threats from DM over the fax and email about sales numbers. Threatened to sell CFNA credit card, vehichle inspections and other repairs no matter the situation. Understaffed sales associates and technicians that only get paid by the job so there is constant turnover but they expect top sales every day. Yesterday does not matter, what can you do for me today?

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, stop treating us just like another number. You reportedly spend 15k on training in the first year but are willing to fire a good employee over anything, even without reason so you can save face or make another buck! I used to go above and beyond for your company, promoting it and giving out my business cards until I learned how little you care and how poorly you treat your own!
