I have been working at Firestone Complete Auto Care full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Just like any other Automotive Facility its got its ups and downs. Most of the time its a good work environment. When it's not, it's probably because of how hectic things can get when things get extremely busy.

Cons

Pay. They do not pay enough for the headache you have to deal with and the stress of having to put up with management and owners when business isn't flourishing.

Advice to Management

Respect all your employees.

    Pros

    It's a paycheck that might pay the bills.

    Cons

    No work-life balance. Non-store management doesn't seem interested in staffing stores properly yet demands employees and stores be perfect despite severely overworking front office staff. Management doesn't seem to understand that a well-run store requires a staff. Pay is fairly low for the industry and raises don't exist. Techs are extremely underpaid and overworked.

    Advice to Management

    It seems like a no-brainer but if you want your stores to perform, STAFF THEM instead of running your employees into the ground! Another no-brainer is that when there's an economic downturn, don't expect sales to continually explode. Why would you expect your sales to boom when everyone elses nationwide are pretty much stagnant? It's simple math. When you use the mantra, "Happy teammates, happy customers, happy company" yet do nothing to ensure employees are happy, it's an unreasonable and illogical expectation that customers or the company would be happy.
