I worked at First American full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

At this point none , this is not a worthwhile company

    Cons

This company, has the highest expectations from its employees, yet do not give them the tools, training nor equipment to complete the job completely , or correctly. This company puts the emphasis on profit at all costs. Utilizing outdated equipment that complete breaksdown. The FAST system is anything but fast , and constantly breaksdown, yet the expectation for employees to complete the tasks in a timely manner is still prevalent , yet not realistic. The structure of this company as portrayed in another employees comments are spot on. Upper management demands loyalty, unobtainable deadlines to be met with the bare minimum of staffing. This company is notorius for working their employees into the ground. I had wondered why the high turnover rate, now I understand why first hand. Local management definitely works under the premise " you are lucky to have a job". Well , I would do with out this one if it were at all possible. Employees ( underlings ) are expected to take reductions in pay, and still produce more. I wonder is upper management is doing the same. I would stay away from this company at all cost.Go to Fidelity , Chicago or Old Republic you will get more respect and will be appreciated.

    Advice to Management

Read all of the above. They would not be where they are without the employees they supervise.
