I have been working at First American full-time (More than a year)

Pros

They have great benefits which include stock options and 401(k).

Cons

Depending on which office you are in, the people can be very rude to new employees, being ignored or disrespected by other office employees is no way to keep people. (A simple Thank you, goes a long way.) Management has no idea of how to keep employee moral up by letting employees know that they are doing a good job.

Advice to Management

Pay attention to how your offices are run and how they all interact together. Make sure your managers have people skills.

    I worked at First American full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    A good working environment with friendly, knowledgeable co-workers. Supervisors and manager communicated well, giving good feedback on your progress and performance.

    Cons

    My group was brought in as contractors to test a new model for the service desk and was laid off after 5 months after upper-management decided to go in another direction.
