Pros

Flexible hours. Fun clients. Independence in choosing work schedule. Great avenues for creativity while making a difference in someone else's life.

Cons

Too much paperwork, not enough recognition for a job well done. Hostile and judgemental work environment, unrealistic expectations of employees. No follow through with employers......constantly misplaced paperwork, through no fault of the employees, but they area blamed anyhow.

Advice to Management

Learn to value your employees and treat them with respect. When they follow your directives, don't chastise them for doing what you asked!

    Mileage reimbursement

    Cons

Make you use paid time off for Holidays

Encouraged employees to commit fraud in order to avoid being fired
    Only care about making money
    Extremely high turn over rate
Being a CSW makes you the bottom of the totem pole in this company. Dealing with the majority of CBI workers as a CSW was an absolutely terrible experience. Many view the CSWs as being beneath them, will bill on days they know the CSW is scheduled for, many do not keep the CSW updated on the case and when it's time for CBI to discharge they will often tell the CSW maybe a week before.
Communication among a consumer's team members (CBI, CBI Therapist, Therapist) is atrocious. Even though we are on the same team, working towards the same goal of helping the consumer, there is a constant competition among the team for hours.
PLEASE DON'T WORK FOR FHC!!! I was unemployment and during the interview this job sounded wonderful. However, that is not the case. I wish I would have stayed on unemployment and found a different job with a company that is not corrupt and actually cares about the employees.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people and not robots. Basic human decency goes a long way.
