Doesn't Recommend
Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Good for people who don't want to excel/ those who want to show up at 7:30 and leave by 4:00 on the dot.
Decent compensation.

Cons

Total disregard for employees wanting to expand/ explore other career opportunities.
Incompentent management at all level.
Does not listen to employees. Yearly reviews are totally subjective.
Not willing to try new methods, even if they could result in huge savings for the company.
FE is a typical public utility. Employees do not and are not encouraged to put in any additional work(parking lot is dead within 5 minutes of closing). Very slow and extremely resistant to change.

Advice to Management

Provide encouragement for employees to expand and grow within company.
Encourage interdepartment communciation and relationships.
Embrace new ideas and methods.
Promote based on skill rather than seniority.

    Pros

Best people I ever worked for.
Lots of guys retiring over the next 10 years...lots of room for advancement
Management always willing to help and answer questions

    Cons

The pay is under industry average. Its good money for single kids fresh out of college, but if you have a family...your not saving any money...and could barely afford a house
