    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Relatively stable employment - they got rid of a lot of folks and remaining overworked
It's a job in troubled times
Only Qwest and ENRON got caught

    Cons

Only focused on revenue, shareholders, and executive compensation
Associates are considered a necessary evil

    Advice to Management

Focus on your most valuable assets - all 20K of them.
More than 155 acquisitions since 1984 - jack of all trades master of none
Products do not build, support, or sell themselves.
Get rid of the penny pincers and look past the revenue numbers.
When all other employees sacrifice pay raises during a recession the CEO should remember he is an employee as well. I know...your contract REQUIRES you take the 6%.
Offshore paychecks are cheap but attrition and ignorance are very expensive. Those are separate tax line items though, right?
Most recent direction - please begin tracking PCI work so we can get a tax write off.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

The product is great with a lot of improvements in the pipeline. Wonderful focus on our clients. Great place for people who don't really want to work. Management is trying hard to improve communications but there is just so much change to make the communications truly effective.

    Cons

There is a lot of turn-over in senior management, makes you wonder what they know. Way to many organizationals changes. When I started at Fiserv, I made the same amount of money as my spouse. Due to a lack of annual increases, I am way behind.

    Advice to Management

Create an organizational structure and stick with it for at least 12 months. Continue to preach the benefits of one Fiserv, the message has been falling on deaf ears. Jeff, don't let the old dogs get you down. Keep up the good work.
