Pros

The company has a good work from home policy that is flexible which results in a good work life balance. The investment services business is small enough that you will get exposure to many of the management team. The associates on the whole are good folks.

Cons

The time off in the form of PTO is not good as it includes holidays and sick time. Health insurance is marginal at best. The management team is risk adverse which tends to make everyone conservative,.

Advice to Management

Get a new team.

    Pros

    Fortune 500 company
    Stable paycheck
    Desire innovation

    Cons

    Tons of infighting
    High level of political sniping
    Management via fear and intimidation
More interested in profit---to the bone----than investing in new product and spurring innovation

    Advice to Management

Read the book from Verne Harnish, "The Rockefeller Habits", and set yearly and quarterly strategic directions for the company and then make the investment.

I worked at Fiserv full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice location downtown. Mostly friendly co-workers.

    Cons

Salary, many unskilled workers, business unit has no growth and is being phased out.

    Advice to Management

Not a whole lot could get done due the huge amounts of red tape. I understand the banking industry moves slowly but when your servers are so old you need to find replacements on eBay, maybe it's time to rethink your strategy.
