I worked at Five Star Senior Living full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Room for growth
Friendly environment
Good place to start
Trusted to work on own
Bonus on a yearly basis
Equal amount of women and men
Coworkers in the same department were in the same age group
Lots of help from coworkers
Patience from managers

Cons

Needs better management (not the assistant manager, he seems like the actual manager in the department)

Advice to Management

Accept questions from employees, motivate employees to grow in other departments, not just in the current department, higher salary

I worked at Five Star Senior Living part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The workers worked hard for poverty pay.

    Cons

Worked as a dining room staff, got fed (essentially leftovers at the end of the night) was free, became paid for deducted from paychecks. You pay your employees $9 and hour and make them pay for already cooked food you intend throwing out, as a company you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Management didn't have access to funds to do their job therefore everyone couldn't effectively do their job.

    Advice to Management

    Have a back-bone.
