Pros

Easy to shine, but no reward for going the extra mile.

Cons

Very, Very low pay. No raises going on 3 years now. Sometimes you have to work from 7 to 7. 7 day work weeks, no weekends. All for 10-14 dollars an hour; seriously.

Advice to Management

Copy other banks. If it works for them is should be a no-brainer. Pay more, pay more.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The health benefits were great the 401k plan was great (but I think it tanked so I wouldn't bet on that now). They do not require a college degree.

    Cons

The pay was not competitive, there is pressure to work faster and faster and those who produce the most get advancement even when the mistakes they make from rushing far out way the production of solid work. If you are someone who takes pride in your work and do not like to make errors underwriting here is not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting people so that you can force them to produce as 3 people and do not lower your standards for those who you have became friends with, while persecuting the ones who rarely make a mistake.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

A lot of opportunity for growth if you are willing to work for it. Bonuses are good when the goals are attainable. Upper management is very responsive to concerns at the branch level.

    Cons

Minimal staffing levels do not allow the chance to have commitments outside work. Pay scale is less than similar jobs at other banks

    Advice to Management

Reconsider how much you pay in relation to what you expect to have done. Quality sometimes deserves upward pay adjustments.
