        Pros

Fleet Cost & Care is a privately owned company where your opinion matters and you are able to and encouraged to make valued contributions to operational success soon after you begin. Senior level management supports flexible structure to allow me to be able to focus on my strengths and create own campaigns and initiatives which was empowering. With that being said I still felt that I was being given quality direction which is important to me and helps me succeed and in turn hopefully the company too. A flexible work schedule and work at home policy as well as the overall benefits are very nice. The opportunity to travel for work can be fun and change up the day to day occasionally. Fleet Cost & Care's products are great as is their team. The fleet management industry we work in is also poised for considerable growth in the near future which is exciting.

        Cons

Collaborating with colleagues can be difficult at times due to the remote work environment that we find ourselves in, however this has been improving.

          Pros

Working at Fleet Cost & Care has been an excellent move up in my career. It's a small company, so as a young but senior-level employee I feel the real ability to leave my mark on the organization and become a leader here. I was hired on as Director of Marketing in September and have been given the flexibility, freedom and trust to implement the overall marketing strategy for the business. I'm faced with challenging work every day - developing a marketing strategy from scratch and implementing with a small team isn't easy, but it's a great way for me to learn how to put my own abilities to work. I find that being a self-starter is super important here, with a small team resources can stretched thin so it's important to be able to prioritize projects and take action without much guidance. I work at our co-working office space in Chicago at the National Building WeWork location and it's fabulous. There's free iced coffee and beer, tons of networking and social events, and a comfortable environment located in Downtown Chicago. There's also a gym in the building that's only $40 / month as well, and we're located in the same building as the Revival Food Hall with great dining options! Location, location, location! We also have an office in Detroit, MI, and we have many employees who work remotely throughout the country.

          Cons

The software and industry are unique and complex, so learning the intricacies and use cases for both is difficult. To be successful here, you really need to be committed to learning how to use a complex product.

        Interview Tips

Feel free to post any interview questions you might be asked and I’ll help you compose an effective response :)

        Alex L.

Applied for a job a few weeks back, got a call from HR yesterday morning about an interview next week. She mentioned she'd shoot me an email with all the interview details, but so far, my inbox is empty. Assuming I'll hear from her early next week, is it normal for them to expect me to show up for an in-person interview on short notice, like couple days?
