Pros

The benefits are great and if you are a PR professional you really can learn a lot. When developing pitches for clients they are a very creative group. The pay is great and the benefits can't be beat. They are very flexible in terms of working arrangements, particularly for women with children.

Cons

When it comes to digital, they talk a good game but don't really believe in it as a firm. Upper management may be committed but middle management is only interested in using it as a sales tool and isn't convinved it has a place in PR. In addition, most of the digital work is centered in two locations. Although there are "strategist" in other locations, all the real work gets done in the two center hubs.

Advice to Management

You have a core set of ideals. It's a little hard to take them seriously when you don't follow them day to day in the ways you execute business. Don't just go through the motions. Allow your people to flourish. Realise that days of having a rolodex of reporters that you pitch stories too is fast coming to an end.

    Pros

The chance to work with some big brands.

    Cons

You're expected to work long hours for poor financial incentives and there is no social scene. The agency also carries a lot of dead wood in disinterested people, some at senior levels, delivering overpriced and bland work for clients.

    Advice to Management

You place too much emphasis on the approach and the brand that works well in the US market but fails to shine through in the UK. Fleishman just doesn't appear on the right pitch lists with the types of cool and cutting edge brands that the US offices work with.

I worked at FleishmanHillard as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Advice to Management

Plus de coordination avec les équipes.
