      Pros

The people from the baseline is very committed, open for new ways of doing things right.

      Cons

The site comes from being a family own business where all the management was actually family and friends, when Flex acquire the site this turn to be a very bad thing because these groups are doing whatever it takes to keep control and power over the site as a survival game. Corporate is not very involved because the size in $ of the site. This site requires a major clean up in order to have possibilities to become a real Flex site.

          Pros

Can’t think of anything. Flex just wasted my time.

          Cons

Flex doesn’t care for their employees. Abuse of Power by board of directors that have been years at Flex and feel/think they’re untouchable. Emotional abuse by superiors. No teamwork/communication. One day I finally took the courage and spoke up directly with the HR department. There was no follow up, solution, explanation or consequences. I was lost. Additional to this, I had no formal/friendly onboarding, didn’t have a working laptop, access to what I needed to perform my duties, No direction or support from my supervisor, terrible attitude, lowering my self esteem, I could go on. My former superior and HR department asked for results from me when I had already reached out to them before begging for help. What Flex requested was impossible to accomplish in 2 days. It was degrading how they wanted to get rid of me. I was honest and told them it was impossible, so they pressured me to quit. And so, I did. At the moment I signed  my resignation, it took them 5 minutes to get me to the door, no goodbyes or thank you. In general, Flex made my job impossible to accomplish with a traumatic emotional experience to live with. The level of stress was over the roof. The Facilities department in Austin as an example has an approximate of 100 Facilities employees, which 85 are men and 15 women. I reached to the conclusion Flex wanted to get rid of me since day 1. Hiring me only to have a woman registered and get an "Equal employee opportunity" badge. Additional to this I am also Hispanic.

Do you experience that how long the hiring process would take at Thermo Fisher? I got my second interview with hiring manager at the beginning of November but I haven’t heard nothing from them. When I’ve emailed them to check in they just said that the process would be slow, no time frame. I would be able to get an offer soon from other company but work as contractor. Should I wait for Thermo Fisher?
