    Pros

Flextronics provided a good opportunity to work alongside VZW employees and gain some knowledge as well as a decent pay and benefits package.

    Cons

Working basically as a contractor had the feel of answering to two different sets of management. Indecision about the way to perform tasks. Had a feel of competing with Verizon employees in their own house! Only saw manager once per week, if that. Did more work than Verizon employees but paid much less with much less benefits.

    Advice to Management

Just cut that CST position out of your market. I'm sure upper management are the only people to reap the rewards of hardworking customer facing employees. And cut out the "middle-man" rm. You may very well just let those employees turn over to VZW...

    Pros

You can gain valuable work experience and exposure to all aspects of global manufacturing. You will learn lean six sigma continuous improvement.

    Cons

It seems that raises and promotions are a thing of the past except for the management team. Company 401k contributions have been stopped and employee contribution for benefits continue to go up.

    Advice to Management

You should realize that the manufacturing employees are the ones who build the products that pay our salary's and keep the doors open.
