    Pros

Fluor is a multi-services engineering firm with a lot of opportunities for career advancement. The projects are set up in a taskforce environment where teamwork and collaboration is essential to project success. This team environment allows you to network with multiple disciplines within Fluor. The compensation is above average and they do pay overtime with client approval. Financially and professionally one could do very well at a firm like Fluor.

    Cons

Working at Fluor is contract work.

    Advice to Management

Do not staff up a job without first considering the implications of where to place personnel if the job does not work out. Consider subcontracting work to lower some of the staffing numbers so that once the job is complete it is feasible to find positions on new or existing jobs to move personnel. Fluor cannot continue to rely on mega projects to sustain its workforce.
