I have been working at Food Lion part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Generally speaking, an employee has the flexibility to plan for specific days off, baring holidays where everyone is expected to work. At the very least, this shortens shifts and makes for a minimal work day for those who want off on days such as these.

    Cons

Some managers care about there employees and understand that there is always room for improvement. If you are lucky enough to work for one of these managers, savor the moment, because they will be transferred out within months and replaced with some of the worst management you have ever seen.

    Advice to Management

There are far more benefits than drawbacks to a manager who works with their employees. Eric Nahra was one of the best managers I have ever worked for in all of my work experience.
