Pros

There are great engineers to work with at Force 3, challenging projects to work on, and resources available to gain knowledge

Cons

The same politics exist at Force 3 that exist at many other companies I've worked at. Politics will always be present.

Advice to Management

The information provided at quarterly meetings is great. A subset of this information should be shared on a monthly basis as well.

    Pros

    The compensation is fair and the company has an outward appearance of competency and professionalism. Cisco Gold Partner is a benefit. Pays for every advancement an employee could want including certifications, training, and college classes.

    Cons

    The engineering management is poorly led, at best. The overall engineering skill at this company is good as long as you work within one of the collaboration or security departments. Other departments have poor management and very little engineering skill. Some can even be downright cutthroat. Majority of the sales staff is very green and most are hired right out of college with little engineering or sales background.

    Advice to Management

    Lose your old engineering management and look for people who actually understand consulting and have the customer needs as their main priority. If you want to build services as part of your business you certainly cannot do it with the lack of engineering leadership you currently have in most spaces. Keep up the good work with security and collaboration practices. Hire skilled sales staff with contacts and pay them well. Along with a good engineering staff, they will make you much more bang for the buck.

    Pros

    Great benefits package and communication between department heads and employees along with hired contracts. I would recommend to anyone as a place to work

    Cons

    As a contractor I do not get to work with Force3 as a actual company so some of the benefits of the leadership are not carried over
