    Pros

    Scale
    Scope
    Technology
Prestige - Ford is still an American Icon

    Cons

Waiting in line for people who are less capable but have worked there longer than you. They won't promote out of turn because they don't want the 40-somethings to resent a 32 year promoted ahead of them.

    Advice to Management

When you have good young talent, give them the career path - and promote ability quickly. Keep the talent interested and engaged.
