I have been working at Ford Motor Company as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, challenging work environment, pay is very good for Detroit. Company has all kinds of events planned for the summer, and many meet and greets with upper managers and some C-suite level employees also.

    Cons

Dearborn is a decent place, but lots of dangerous areas around. Need to be careful all the time, it gets annoying.

    Advice to Management

You're doing a great job, keep up the good work.

    Pros

Senior Leadership is some of the best there is.

    Cons

First line leaders seems to have a collective chip on their shoulder. Interaction at the first level is all across the board. The last one I worked with had the management skills of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. Sadly her manager didn't have a clue how she treated people.

    Advice to Management

Make sure all employees are treated with respect and dignity, by all managers.
