I worked at Forest Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Quality products and stressed compliance issues.

    Cons

    No work life balance
    Poor launching messages
    managed care challenges
no matter how good your numbers, if you are not in the "click" then your out. They preach "impact" on customers constantly but when delivered and production supports the numbers, it is not what they are looking for.

    Advice to Management

New England region lost a great RM to the CT region. Review the turn over in ME, NH, VT, MA since 2009. RM and DM thought they needed to clean house and cut me days before my largest bonus payout I ever had. I questioned the RM and he told me there is more than production, "you just don't fit in." They forced out or fired all (or almost all) the reps in Northern New England not to mention all of the DM's got demoted to reps. Now Forest can't keep reps up here. Too bad because Forest used to be the envy.
