I have been working at Forever 21 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good music, loyal customers, discount, trendy dress code. You are allowed to let your personality shine in how you dress.

    Cons

The maturity level of the associates is very low and even lower amongst the management team. The person to your right and your left will throw you under the bus the first chance they get or try to make you look bad in any way if it means they will advance. This company tolerates too much gossiping and fraternization in the workplace.

    Advice to Management

    Hire mature managers.

I worked at Forever 21 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

great clothing that is pretty much straight off the runway-in theory
fast pace work environment- never a dull moment
vast expansion of the company in different countries-you want a growing company
    making great friends and connections
expands your fashion thinking outside the box-pushes the limits

    Cons

too many questions, not enough answers
very disorganized on the operational side of things
too many chains of command- need to combine jobs so it is less confusing
given too many tasks in one day, so nothing ever really gets done 100%
    not enough internal promoting
    too much turn over
DM's and RM's play favorites with certain stores and then yell at stores they barely help
upper management wants to hold everyone accountable, but does not provide the appropriate support or tools for them to be successful
    not enough concern for employees
break room like a matchbox- we had to sit on boxes because there was no room
crazy customers that think throwing things around like a bargain basement is okay-then want to complain the store is un-organized!

    Advice to Management

better incentives for employees-especially if they have been with the company for years
just saying thank you to your employees for making F21 one of the biggest retailers around
better discount! 10% is the tax! really?
    more job creation internally
better training for employees so they can succeed-not just some video
