I have been working at Forever 21 part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

They offer good hours, up to 40 hours/week part time or full time

Cons

Your 40 hours can easily be reduced to 20 when the store is not making enough money which is unfair for those paying bills, your income is not secure.

Advice to Management

Treat your employees better

I worked at Forever 21 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun job if you like fashion, fabrics, prints, etc. They provide free lunch and have Starbucks on site.

    Cons

Pay was very low for copywriting ($14/hour). Lunch is only 30 minutes. In the E-Commerce department, the copywriting team was overworked and underpaid. Most people (stylists, photogs, retouchers, etc) only last one year because of the quota system. Overall, not a bad job, but the holiday season (November til Christmas) was crazy. We had to work Saturdays and some Sundays to meet product overload.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in employees so that there isn't a high turnover rate. Happy employees are loyal employees who stick around for years, so you don't have to keep training new employees.

    Pros

Flag ship store, leads you to opportunities to other jobs, big projects lead to more experience you have an opportunity to move up as a supervisor.

    Cons

going on breaks, which are only about 30 mins long, and no microwave for employees, large crowds and traffic lead to massive production of push outs
