No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Forrester as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

You get to really talk to the people around. There is also a very clear chain of command. I was taught very well and learned how to communicate effectively throughout different parts of the company office and also to the people overseas. Office is well put together, clean, well-lit, and generous with space. Place comes with a gym and a decently priced and high selection cafeteria.

Cons

There is nothing I can complain about that doesn't concern specific people.

Advice to Management

Keep it up. I actually had a really hard time trying to write in the cons section

I have been working at Forrester full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Intelligent and engaging people to work with. Excellent morale in most areas. It is particularly welcoming to the musically inclined. Instruments in the cafe to play with and small band competitions.

    Cons

Seems to change strategic focus every other year. Sometimes it feels like change for changes sake. There is a hesitence to speak the truth to senior management.

    Advice to Management

Set the bar higher for sweeping changes. The problem is not our internal org structure. If you want to grow the business look at each and every customer interaction and make it valuable and delightful for the customer.

I have been working at Forrester full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Forrester employs some of the best and brightest in research. It is a demanding environment in that you are expected to learn quickly, but once you gain skills and experience, you are given the opportunity to take on more responsibility.

    Cons

The pace is very fast with not a lot of job training.

    Advice to Management

Offer more training with competency milestones for employees to hit.
