    Pros

Ample opportunities to learn, assume new responsibilities, initiate actions, and participate in various initiatives, no matter what your position is
    Highly competent, qualified, dedicated staff
Corporate culture is one of integrity, respect, and collaboration
Management and colleagues truly have the company's best interests at heart
Very generous benefits, even by industry standards
Strong community involvement at both a corporate and employee level
    Highest degree of professional behavior

    Cons

Culture of non-confrontation and failure to address individual performance issues and behaviors is downright dysfunctional
Individual performance problems are addressed via sweeping policies that punish everyone and hamper productivity
Training issues are addressed via policies rather than training
Change happens at a glacial pace
Promotions, no matter how well deserved, are far too rare

    Advice to Management

Re-institute 360-degree surveys and take action based on results
Train people to be managers of people before promoting them
Address individual performance issues directly with each individual
