I worked at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center full-time

Pros

Great Benefits, mostly daytime hours with few weekends in general. Wonderful cafeteria. Nice parking garages. Easy to get to from freeway.

Cons

Individual labs within Hutch function as individual units, and experiences will vary depending upon individual lab you are working for. HR apparently cannot help you transfer or relocate to another lab if you come to them with a problem...of course you can apply for open positions in other labs like everybody else. My experience was 1 star, but in the right lab at the Hutch the experience can be 5 star. Ask LOTS of questions at your job interview to get a feel for the lab/supervisor.
