I have been working at Freddy's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get Monthly Bonuses if employee labor is low $200-300/month
    Insurance after one month
Decent Salary--starting for Managers is $30-35k annually
50% discount if you eat there

    Cons

-10 hour shifts on your feet--all day long, 5x week
    - No breaks/lunch breaks. If you get a chance you eat, you eat on the go (walking or standing) cannot leave for lunch
-1 week vacation after 1 year but must be approved 6 months in advance.
-You cannot leave the premises during your shift
-No sick/personal days. You cannot miss work because no other manager wants to work a double 10hr shift.
-Must let someone know at all times where you are going, even to the bathroom
-Managers work all stations several times a day in order to keep employee labor low (grill/make burgers, make custard, fry fries, drive thru, cashier, etc)
-Cameras at every angle, watching all your moves
-No cell phone use at all
    -Very by the book company
-Food is not fresh, all frozen meat or everything is premixed
    -High turnover rates

    Advice to Management

Statistics show that giving an employee a minimum of a15 minute break will make them more efficient and happier in the work place
Its just burgers and fries you are serving
Company fails to tell you all the little minor details during interviewing.
Im very disappointed with Freddy's on the way they take advantage of the Texas Labor Laws. They over work their managers on a daily basis.
If you need a paycheck and can handle GM's with attitudes and brown nosing with the Area Director and CEO then this is your place, if not please look else where because you will be disappointed.
