Pros

Great job satisfaction, benefits, vacation and sick leave. Opportunities for advancement if willing to move. FMCNA is largest dialysis provider in US, so there is job security. Availability of bonuses.

Cons

Lack of support from upper management, minimal training for managers available initially, bonus structure not based on acute clinic accomplishment - based on district as a whole.

    Pros

    Great opportunity to build relationships with pts in a role that really impacts their health outcomes. It is generally satisfying to play a key role in a small interdisciplinary team that directs the pt's care.

    Cons

    Please see the statement below: I believe there is a very real challenge at hand between managing excellent pt. care and juggling corporate business expectations. Sadly, I believe it is the pts. who see the poor result from unrealistic expectations.

    Advice to Management

    The business initiatives are smart, and what is going to make this company competetive into the future. However, you are accomplishing these "projects" through your direct pt. care staff via a deluge of updates/corrections/and revisions of policy upon policy. [How could one keep up? which is clearly the expectation] I believe this challenge of providing "ultracare" is not met with adequate support, therefore in the end, it is the pts. who suffer the result as the direct care team attempts to juggle good pt. care with "business care."

    None and they don't have any respect for people just the bottom line (money)

    Cons

    Company only give to Management. Worker are treated like slaves and company act like they are doing you a flavor by letting you work there

    Advice to Management

    The Management is mostly white and only want white people to success.
