No opinion of CEO

Pros

Good place to know and understand. Access to databases. Can develop fundamental knowledge about the field in which u work in

Cons

Interns are not treated well. They are treated as a source of cheap labour. U never feel as a part of the company. U feel like one of the furniture there. Just there to serve ur purpose

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Exposure is key and frost &sullivan does a good job at providing that vital breakthrough for every individual to present his capabilities to the best if his ability

    Cons

Think the salary is definitely not the best by any industry standards. This needs to change - cause in the end the key to an organisation like frost & Sullivan are its employees. Retention is key and should be emphasised upon

    Advice to Management

    Not in a
PositIon to comment on this. There are good and bad aspects to any management. The leadership within the automotive division is brilliant and it is one of the reasons - why the team is one of the best in the company. Suggest leadership to draw inspiration from within the automotive division.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

-Good place to get a taste of the market research and consulting world
-If you're an analyst then its also a good place to create a reputation for yourself in the market
-You meet many young people with whom you become friends
-Good first impression of the brand

    Cons

-Can't think of another company that has so many Directors, Vice Presidents and other senior titles as compared to regular workers
    -Low morale
    -Large employee turnover
    -No training
-Poor compensation, but also no serious chance of a raise
-Not in all cases, but more than often, the quality of work is quite bad
-"No spend" policy on practically anything
    -Ethical standards could use improvement
-Too much focus on sales and not enough on producing something that could be sold

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to take the company in 17 directions at once. Be either a research house, a consulting company, an event company, or a training company. Instead of trying to do all of these things at once, become really good at one of them.

Don't focus on short term sales. Focus on the quality of analysis, and try to differentiate the company by developing a set of core competencies.

Invest in professional tools (CRM, Order Entry, conferencing services etc)

Empower your middle managers to make decissions.

And most importantly, try to retain the people that are valuable to the company.
