I worked at Frost & Sullivan part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

You can learn a lot from your team members especially if you are an intern or part time associate. Every body is happy to share their experience in consulting industry and from the industry they worked for. If you initiate to work for other projects that you are interested in, they will you give the chance to do that. very supportive and collaborative environment. (I worked as a part time associate for the healthcare industry)

Cons

fast-moving environment and you need to work really hard to keep up with others. from the first day you are treated as the employer so no excuse for not deliverying well because you are new. very competitive because everyone is smart.

Advice to Management

more training program would be better for entry level

I worked at Frost & Sullivan full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you are a self starter and do not require direction you can learn a lot. The learning will come from you taking the initiative - not from anyone teaching you anything. You do have access to corporate database - even if you are in events - you can bascially get through to any comapny in the world - but don't expect training on what to do once you reach the other end.

    Cons

No training. Poor salary. Ghetto offices. Awful technology. You will not be given credit for your own work. The company is spread too thin - it is trying to be everything to everyone. Terrible leadership Worst maangement - the "board" all hates each other and does not communicate. Who is the CEO? They took the CEO title away because no one want to assume the responsibility of being the "Worst CEO in America" - so they use the term "Chairman".

    Advice to Management

Overhaul the whole company - figure out what you are good at and do it. Stop launching a new product line each day. Hire staff with credentials - it is difficult to be a great company when the majoirty of your workforce has no experience.

I worked at Frost & Sullivan full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

given plenty of responsibility from day one, showing initiative is encouraged, approachable management, colleagues from all over the world, generally a good vibe in the building

    Cons

some of the interior/ equipment in the London office needs upgrading (perhaps some of it is done by now), promotions are linked to a comparatively moderate pay rise
