    I have been working at Furniture Row full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    For the most part the co-workers are great. They typically find good minded nice employees due to the different interview process making the candidates interviewing with 3 different managers. On delivery once you finished your delivery's for the day you are free to go home. Decent vacation pack 1 week after 1 year 2 after 2 and 3 after 3.

    Cons

    Every position is a commission position including Delivery and Warehouse so it is very hard to count on a consistent paycheck. One week you are over worked the next you are doing nothing. No raises. If you want to advance in the company you will be re located to another store most times States away. They make you watch the same repetitive training videos every 6 months.

    Advice to Management

    Incentivize your grunt employees (Warehouse/Delivery) to stay, a little raise or bonus after each year of employment may help you retain good employees. Trust in store managers to make good hires, people looking for a new job can not wait multiple weeks most times for a third interview. Cut the training videos down from every 6 months to a year.
