I worked at FusionStorm full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Large National Reseller great relationships with manufacturers on East Coast
Well Funded
Really good people at the client facing level

Cons

Regional Management and National Management need to find ways to work better together.
Often San Francisco initiatives at odds with local regional managers.
Level of office politics really too high for a national company

Advice to Management

Trust the local management, if they don't perform, sack em. But stop micromanaging.

    I have been working at FusionStorm full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible work hours - a result of management not having a clue. I was not allowed to take paid time off and then when I capped hours I was told that it was my fault by HR. Not much positive to say.

    Cons

    Management at the highest level does not understand Managed Services. Customers screaming about service levels and management continues to refuse to pay vendor support contracts. Technical support staff is refered to as "back office staff" even though they are customer facing. Horrible place to work.

    Advice to Management

    Get a clue. Learn your business.
